Taking A Little Liberty...

An Edwardian dress and cutwork coat from my traveling museum.

I am publicly stating that I am taking a little liberty. I am first a Victorian era historian/ author/speaker. However, I also enjoy the Edwardian period, 1901-1910. Without the Victorian period, 1837-1901 there would be no Edwardian style, the Victorian era is its foundation.
So from time to time you will see me reenacting the Edwardian era. For example, I adore the dresses worn on the Titanic. So if you will, permit me this small liberty from time to time.  :)

  5. Hi Lisa and welcome to blogland! You are going to love this! My love for Victorian, started from a composition doll my mother-in-law had given me from 1910. I love Edwardian children's clothes too. I attended a Victorian day here in Belvadere NJ, back in Sept 2010. They did a fashion show, and it was so neat. Nice to meet you!
