Victorian Homes In My Travels

There's something so quaint about a Victorian home. Queen Anne style is my personal favorite. As a child I loved doll houses, what little girl didn't? They were always beautiful Queen Anne styles with turrets, wrap around porches and gingerbread trim everywhere. I guess the little girl in me never grew up, I still admire Victorian homes, the architecture is like no other. Along my travels I often snap photos of houses along the way. I hope you enjoy this little tour of some of my favorites.

  1. I would live in each and every one of these houses. I LOVE them too. There's so much detail and style. You know what else? Old beautiful homes like this ALWAYS have the best nooks and crannies. New homes don't have that much style :) :) I like the older ones best :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

I am so glad that you liked the pictures. Please bear with me, I am just getting started blogging so I will have much more to add as I get the hang of it!
Btw, the last two photos of the red brick Victorian with the tower is my home.

  4. What gorgeous homes! The one with the 6-story tower is so unusual. But I'd be happy to live in any of these beauties! Thanks for sharing. :-)

  5. The sloping roofs are a particularly interesting style. Where was the home pictured in the 11th photo found (the 3-story with tree growing in the verge out front)?
