The Civil War Tea at the Stegmaier Mansion B&B in Wilkes-Barre PA was a most memorable event! Guest speaker Carle Welter amazed the guests with her ensemble, artifacts and stories. Historian Victoriana Lady Lisa Lewis was dressed in authentic second year Victorian Mourning clothing. She displayed photos of her grandfather Samuel Martin, a Quartermaster Sergeant in the Union army and a rare handmade Civil War flip doll. Several other wonderful re-enactors were present as well, dressed for the period, adding to the ambiance.
