I had the most delightful day perusing the Luzerne County Historical Society's many closets full of glorious Victorian & Edwardian dresses & capes. Next week I get go through the myriad of boxes!! What fun!!

A very special thanks to the historical society's director Anthony T.P. Brooks and museum curator Mary Ruth Burke for this wonderful opportunity.

All of those beautiful Victorian & Edwardian dresses, capes, coats, shirtwaists, bodices, skirts to enjoy!

Joe and I will be on vacation next week and we are planning on repainting the kitchen and changing the border.
I have also been working in the back yard to create a cottage garden look!! I hope everything I planted will now grow!!

  4. Oh my goodness! What a treat to be able to go through all those stunning gowns! It reminds me of when I was studying in the Museum of London's underground vault.

    Thanks for sharing!
